Prescriptions

How to order your prescription:

If you would like to obtain your repeat prescription in the practice, please leave all requests for prescriptions with the receptionist, using the tear off slip given with your last prescription and clearly indicating the items you require.

We currently accept requests over the telephone by answer phone so please remember to include your name, address, and contact number.

From time to time you will be asked to make an appointment for a medication review with the doctor and you will not be given any medication until this has been done. This is for your own benefit, so please make an appointment as soon as possible to avoid any delay in obtaining your medication. If you have been asked to complete a medication review online, please visit our Medication Review form.

If you run out of medication over the weekend or bank holiday, you can go to your nearest chemist and they will dispense an emergency supply. You will be required to provide proof of what you are taking, so please take your medication slip or the packaging.

Prescriptions issued by The Grove can be dispensed at a community pharmacy of your choice, however Peak Pharmacy on Netherfield is located closest to the practice.  Each day Peak Pharmacy, Boots CMK & Boots Bletchley collect prescriptions.

If you want to save yourself a journey to the surgery please contact the chemist directly, ask that they collect your prescription and then collect your medication directly from the chemist at a pre-arranged time.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays, for your request to be processed.
